    Project Overview

    The project consists of providing quality education to children and youth at risk of social exclusion.

    The local partner functions within a holistic frame work, endeavoring to work with children and their family at every stage of their journey to reintegration. The organization advocates for crime prevention initiatives and works toward creating environments that are crime-free through promoting employment, education and structural change to the justice system and an understanding of criminal activity and its causes within Nepal.

    Day 1: Arrival Kathmandu Airport & meet NGO staff

    Day 2 & Day 3: Kathmandu Valley & Temples tour (Weekend)

    Day 4 – Day 11: Volunteer in Kathmandu Valley (Educational Activities)

    Day 12 – Day 16: Trekking Tour with Guide & Sherpas – Annapurna region

    Day 17: Back to Kathmandu

    What extra costs will I have?

    • Visa, flights, travel insurance (mandatory), vaccinations, in-country trips or tours, transport to and from your placement, transfer back to the airport at conclusion of the program.
    • Spending money – Volunteers in Nepal generally find US$20 to be sufficient for weekly expenses
