The project consist of combating extreme poverty in the Philippines and discovering the Philippine culture by building relationships with the villagers. The main aim is to transmit your knowledge and skills to increase the competences of the villagers and bring to light the potentials of the village for community empowerment

To create a sustainable livelihood project for the community as an additional source of income:
Producing, launching and promoting a local drink
Improving and expanding the community bakery business
Designing a marketing plan to launch and/or to expand both social enterprises including packaging and labeling ideas to make the product competitive and eco-friendly and distribution strategies
Purchasing goods, materials and equipment needed to develop both social enterprises
Making the product with the beneficiaries
Training the beneficiaries to work together to maintain and sustain the businesses
Value the ability, skills, knowledge, connections and potential of the team and the community - Encourage each Community member to actively contribute and share inputs related to the project.
Turn struggles into strengths - encourage the community to be proactive and participate in the creation and maintenance of the livelihood project
Create a facebook page to give visibility to the development of the livelihood project in the community and act as an inspirational page to potential interns
Create a powerpoint presentation to be presented at the end of the internship as a basis for the logistics and details of the livelihood project

Length of program
All programs attract a Registration Fee of €279 on top of the Program Fee (partially refundable until 60 days before your program start date). A 5% international banking fee is added at point of payment.
